The Soil and Water Conservation Society is a professional organization whose purpose is to foster the science and art of natural resource conservation.

The University of Missouri Student Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society is open to undergraduate and graduate students at MU. Mizzou’s chapter usually holds meetings during the Fall and Spring semesters. Some of the activities hosted in the past by the student chapter include field tours, discussions on conservation topics by professional scientists, and meetings with potential employers. The faculty advisor for the chapter is Professor Steve Anderson. We welcome all students interested in joining!
