Tigers for Community Agriculture is a vegetable growing project that strives to provide a hands-on learning environment for students interested in sustainable agriculture.
TCA partners with Bradford Research Farm to engage students in growing produce sustainably. The group is part of a full-circle system that uses compost from the campus dining facilities to grow food that is then sold back to the dining halls and donated to Tiger Pantry. This all contributes to the elimination of food waste and promotes supplying local food to MU Students. TCA also aims to expand student awareness and education about the production and importance of sustainable food and how each person can positively impact agriculture.
