
Recycling is an important part of being a good steward to the earth. And did we mention it saves money for the university? During the 2010-11 school year, MU saved more than $300,000 thanks to campus recycling efforts. Do your part and learn what you can recycle.
Quick Tips
- You can tell what type of plastic your container is by looking on the bottom of the container.
- You CAN recycle envelopes with the plastic windows.
- Don’t contaminate recyclables with food or wet garbage!
- Once a bag of recyclables is contaminated all of it has to be discarded as TRASH.
