Sustainable Peers Reaching Out (SPROUT) is a peer education program for students who wish to learn about various sustainability topics and teach other students about topics ranging from energy efficiency to the complexities of bottled water and its effect on the environment.
SPROUT holds programs for student organizations, residential hall staff, and other campus groups. SPROUT welcomes all students interested in learning how to live a more sustainable life as well as wanting to improve public speaking skills and gaining new and lasting friendships.
Anyone interested is encouraged to attend our weekly meetings we hold throughout the semester; we love seeing new faces! We are currently accepting applications for the fall semester, so check out our application process if you’re interested in becoming peer educator!
